Traditional pattern flooring

Traditional pattern flooring, also named tapis, exists for hundreds of years and is available in lots of patterns. The most familiar patterns are the herringbone and the Hungarian point, but you can also choose for an elbow pattern or the cassette. Next to the extended choice in patterns you also have a large choice in colours – from white wash to ebony black -, in types of wood and finishing method.

Craftsmanship

We are glad to help you with your best choice, as craftsmanship takes a large part in pattern floors. Laying a pattern asks for experience, knowhow of the different types of wood and finishing methods and above all a heart for wood. A pattern floor always is a unique floor with the personal signature of the parquet layer.

Aged floors

Traditional patterns are also available in an aged look. Then your floor seems to come directly out of an 18th century French palace or a majestic old library. So called aged floors most of the times are laid in a herringbone or block pattern.
